Tom Wills lights up the dancefloor with his latest release “Mid-Night Moves”

Tom Wills comes to the stage with a confidence that makes you sit up and take notice. Launching with his debut single, “Mid-Night Moves,” the Manchester native makes it clear right off the bat that he’s not here to be a wallflower, he’s in charge of this room. "Mid-Night Moves" is anthemic from the first note, powered by aggressive vocals and slamming production that seems meant to fill every corner of a club. Producer Sholz-Y keeps pace with Tom’s intensity, yielding a track that is danceable. This is lively UK dance music with a little heart, loud, proud and alive.

What sets “Mid-Night Moves” apart isn’t only its energy levels, which are high indeed. The magic lies in the way the song captures the emotional charge of the dance floor, those electric connections that happen when the lights are low, the music is loud, and everything feels like it’s on the table. Tom rises and falls on that tension, which is delivered ever so beautifully in the song, making the track feel more like a moment in time than just a song.

Tom Wills is openly queer, and his daring isn’t something to stash in the margins,  it’s at the heart of his artistic being. Everything about him screams bigger than life, from his sound to his style, and “Midnight Moves” is a great introduction into that world. This debut isn’t a statement but a promise. If this is the first taste of what Tom Wills has lined up, the dance scene needs to brace for an epic mind-meltdown. It's still early in the night.
